This English Arts and Crafts movement was a principle inspiration for the Craftsman style. Inspired by the work of the Greene brothers, the Craftsman style became the most popular American small house form at the turn of the century. This distinctive style is still prevalent in the small towns throughout the country. The most common forms are single story and one and one half story with full width single style porch. The one story form, often referred to as a “Bungalow,” adapts particularly well to traditional deep, narrow lots.
“What I appreciate most was your patience and commitment to client satisfaction from the design process through construction. From a personal standpoint, building a home can be not only an exciting process, but also very challenging at times. There’s no one I would rather go through this process with than Progress St.”
